South Ari Atoll, Maldives
Kudarah Thila, in South Ari Atoll (Alifu Dhaalu), is a submerged pinnacle protected as a marine reserve with a top at 12m and flanks descending to 30m. Renowned for its spectacular soft corals and gorgonian fans, with grey reef sharks, turtles, and moray eels. Moderate to strong current; best on incoming tide with visibility of 20-25m.
