Maldives
The name comes from Dhivehi: kuda means little and kandu means channel. It is a small channel with two small thilas inside.
It is a channel dive with lots of fish, some turtles and soft corals on the walls. When crossing the channel, eagle rays, sharks and turtles may appear, as well as schools of rainbow runners. Many different species of moray eel can be found. Schools of humpback snappers and oriental sweetlips gather around the coral blocks.
In Lhaviyani, from December to April the sea is usually calmer.
