The reef is very colourful, with hard and soft coral, many reef fish species, turtles cruising by and reef sharks. Sharks are seen frequently, and there are good macro finds. A frequent visitor photographed 113 types of fish on the house reef in 2023 and watched a moray eel hunting with a lyre-tailed coral grouper.
