The Kinolhas house reef is widely visited by tourists from neighbouring resorts who come to see the marine life. In one dive cruise itinerary, it appears as a night dive, with the boat anchored near the island. Seen from above, the island of Kinolhas resembles a whale shark and is one of the largest in the atoll, at 54 hectares. Around Dhigali, in Raa Atoll, visibility is usually better from January to April, with mainly incoming currents; from May to November, the water is usually rich in plankton, and it is usually manta season.
