Koh Tao, Surat Thani, Thailand
King Kong Rock is a little-known site on the southeastern coast of Koh Tao, between Aow Leuk and Lang Khai bay, discovered by Uncle Kong (founder of New Heaven Dive School). A granite block covered in coral with crevices between 5 and 28m, sheltering scorpionfish, nudibranchs and the occasional stonefish.
