Maldives
The hard coral formations stretch from the corner to a thila inside the channel, where there are also eagle rays. Schools of jackfish, fusiliers and emperors swirl close to the reef. One channel south of Kermitt Corner lies Loricanto Terrace, another dive site. Dhaalu has around five channels on its western edge and ten on the eastern side, and the currents that run through them bring nutrients that support healthy reefs and plenty of pelagic life. In Dhaalu and Faafu, hawksbill and green turtles are seen year-round feeding on the reefs.
