Maldives
The plateau is covered in large hard corals, with schools of reef fish. Among them, frequently sighted reef fish include scorpionfish, boxfish, puffer fish, surgeonfish, angelfish, bannerfish, triggerfish, parrotfish, trumpetfish, pipefish, clown fish, sweetlips, snapper, grouper and lionfish. In the blue there is a chance of seeing great barracudas, large tuna, reef sharks and other pelagics. The Kanuhura resort closed for renovation in August 2015 and was relaunched after a USD 42 million overhaul; with it, the property came to span three islands: Kanuhura, Masleggihura and Jehunuhura.
