Kandooma Thila, in South Malé Atoll (Kaafu), is a marine reserve with top at 12m and flanks down to 40m, known as one of the best shark dive sites in the Maldives during the 2000s. Grey reef sharks, eagle rays, and green turtles circle the pinnacle; strong current requires advanced level. Visibility 20-25m.
