Kandooma Caves, in South Malé Atoll near the Kandooma resort, is a series of caves and tunnels in the outer reef between 10-30m. Barracudas, moray eels, and nurse sharks inhabit the cave interiors; outside, gorgonian fans and soft corals cover the walls. Intermediate, with basic cave penetration.
