Palau
The Iro is a 143 m Imperial Japanese Navy oiler sunk on March 31, 1944 during Operation Desecrate One and resting upright on the lagoon floor west of Koror, at 40 m of depth. The main deck at 25 m and the two still-intact guns (bow and stern) are covered by soft corals and fire coral, with hull penetration possible for wreck-certified divers.
