The house reef of Kapalai is a paradise for muck diving, with a sandy bottom at 5–21 metres directly in front of the resort suspended over the sandbank. Rare nudibranchs, mimic octopuses, ghost pipefish and day octopuses light up the nooks and crannies of this convenient and endlessly explorable diving area.
