Ko Lanta, Krabi, Thailand
Hin Daeng (Red Rock) is a giant pinnacle that breaks the surface about 100 km south of Phuket in the Andaman Sea, with walls covered in red and purple soft corals dropping more than 60m. It is one of the best sites in Thailand to spot oceanic manta rays and whale sharks (best between February and April), along with large pelagics in moderate to strong currents.
