Maldives
The ship sank in 1988 and, in 2018, still appeared tilted on the sandy bottom, about 30 m from Hembadhu island, near the Vivanta by Taj Coral Reef. You can see the windows and cabins and swim above it. The hull is covered with invertebrates and a great variety of corals, even black coral, as well as sponges. The site is suited to night diving, when Tubastraea corals appear in the lamp beams and large moray eels may be seen. The fish include rays, sometimes nurse sharks and reef sharks, great shoals of snappers, big groupers, parrotfish, scorpionfish and angelfish.
