In October 2003, the resort operated as Italturist Helioland Beach Resort and offered free daily guided snorkeling on the coral barrier. Even before reaching the barrier you can see plenty of fish, among them butterflyfish and parrotfish. In El Quseir, March to May and September to November are usually considered the best months to travel, because June to August is very hot.
