Maldives
The reef measures about 100 x 40 m, with long finger-like tongues of sand reaching into open water, and is marked by a navigation beacon. On the southwest side there are a few overhangs that can be explored on a dive.
In many places there are beautiful coral formations, and the walls are covered in soft coral and sponges. They also have many overhangs where dark-loving fish and other shy creatures hide during the day.
The fauna is typical of a thila (pinnacle) and offers plenty of variety in macro life. The site is teeming with fish.
