Halg Dawoud is a lagoon within the fringing reef, used for try dives, first dives, courses, night dives and diving with children. From the end of the pier, you swim out for a few minutes to the reef, which can be followed to the left, to the right or straight ahead, and a rope helps you get back to the pier. There is a report of a turtle, a crocodilefish and an octopus seen on the reef almost every day during one stay.
