Halaveli, North Ari Atoll, Maldives
Four large rays live on the wreck, three of them black-spotted stingrays up to 1.5 m, and a small turtle and two large morays also live on the hull. The Halaveli instructors spent six months training the rays to take food, which is why they surround divers. There are also large morays and groupers on the hull and rays on the sandy bottom. The visit is usually better in the afternoon, after lunch, when the rays are more likely to be there and active.
