Habili Ghadir has a narrow 250 m plateau, edged by large boulders on its western side and dotted with smaller coral formations of 4 to 15 m on its eastern side, and to the north a plateau-like extension holds several coral mounds. Because it is exposed to the open sea, the reef is rarely visited. There are hard corals and colorful soft corals, with blue fan corals on the eastern side. Eagle rays and schools of fusiliers, mackerels and snappers appear. In late September 2024, during a marine heatwave, this reef, lying further offshore, bleached less than some inshore reefs.
