The site is a cleaning station: manta rays come to a big rock to be cleaned by wrasses, which eat their parasites, and swim over the divers. The period between May and August tends to be good, when the manta rays come to this cleaning station. Besides manta rays, stingrays have been spotted at the site. In the region, nurse sharks and leopard sharks have also occasionally been seen and, in August, whale sharks.
