At Gorgonia House Reef, plateaus and coral gardens alternate, with trevally, barracudas, moray eels, turtles, coral groupers under the table corals, eagle rays and anemones with clownfish. Common sightings also include parrotfish, scorpionfish, lionfish, octopus, gorgonian fans, Spanish dancer and crocodile fish.
In the lagoons of the reef flat, a green sea turtle feeding on seagrass, the bluespotted ribbontail ray and the cowtail stingray are often seen. In October 2024, the coral had already suffered from the very warm water, 36 °C, of the previous summer, but there were still many beautiful stretches.
