Gordon's Rock, near Santa Cruz Island, is an eroded volcanic crater known as "The Washing Machine" for its unpredictable currents and upwellings. Considered one of the most challenging and rewarding dives in Galápagos, it is a meeting place for hammerhead sharks, Galápagos sharks, eagle rays and turtles in abundance. Requires Advanced Open Water certification and a minimum of 20 logged dives.
