The site works as a cleaning station: turtles and rays pass through to be cleaned by smaller fish. There are also reef fish and hard coral. In the region of Goidhoo, Fehendhoo and Fulhadhoo, the dry season, from December to April, is usually the best time to visit, with sun and little rain. In those months, the dry northeast monsoon usually brings calmer seas.
