The route along the Formoso River, at Praia da Figueira, is about 1,400 m long. The trip takes around 1 hour. An electric support boat accompanies the group throughout the outing. There is a rest stop halfway along the route.
You do not need to know how to swim: the neoprene suit and the life jacket provide about 80% buoyancy.
