Maldives
To the southeast of the thila there is a sloping coral plateau, with coral blocks and black coral trees. There are records of three eagle ray sightings at the site, one in February, one in March and one in December. In the Laamu region, manta rays are sighted year-round, and sightings have historically peaked from May to June and from October to November.
