Farundi Cave, located east of Misool Island in southern Raja Ampat, is a limestone cave and tunnel site that divers traverse between 5 to 30 meters depth, with a ceiling dotted with stalactites and unique rock formations. Inside the tunnel, sea fans, barrel sponges and schools of fusiliers cascade along the walls, while wobbegong octopuses camouflage themselves on the white sand bottom. Moderate currents sweeping the entrance bring pelagic species such as barracudas and, occasionally, manta rays.
