The site is also called Fulidhoo Channel, a short boat ride from Fulidhoo, and "kandu" is the Dhivehi term for channel. The reef is home to sharks, sailfish, schools of tuna and barracuda. The variety of marine life is large, from nudibranchs and blennies to eagle-rays and sharks.
