Dolphins sometimes pass by and can be heard, and whitetip reef sharks, turtles and triggerfish are frequently seen. In Dhaalu and Faafu, it is possible to dive year-round, and manta encounters are usually more common from December to April. South Nilandhe Atoll (Dhaalu) has 10 channels on the eastern side and five on the western side.
