Hurghada, Red Sea, Egypt
Erg Somaya takes its name from the coral block that divers pass during the dive. North of the shelf, coral towers covered in soft corals and gorgonians reach out into the blue. Barracuda, snapper, jackfish and tuna patrol the site, while clouds of anthias and silversides break off the coral towers and glassfish fill the chimney. Butterflyfishes and yellowfin tuna are also part of the site's life.
