Egypt
In the northern sector of El Hibeq, among coral outcrops, there are blue spotted rays, crocodile fish, moray eels and the longnose hawkfish, hiding in the black corals. Table corals shelter schools of fish, and on the sand there is a large eel garden. Two dives are made in this sector, one along the northern side and one along the southern side. In the southern sector, five pinnacles arranged in a circle have pristine and varied coral, each one dominated by a fish species, and blue spotted rays and barracuda appear between them. In the Nuweiba area diving is possible all year round; the best time is usually May and June and from September to November, while from January to April the sea gets colder and there are strong, chilly winds.
