El Fanous West is the western face of the El Fanous reef off Hurghada, with a 5 to 25 m wall often swept by moderate currents that sustain excellent purple and orange soft corals. The western side receives fewer visits than the east and maintains good populations of Napoleon wrasse and turtles.
