Aruk Gigi is part of the Al Aruk group, north of Gota Abu Ramada, also known as Aruk Tweil, Shaab Kweiss and The Magic Mushrooms. The nickname comes from the many ergs in this area, which spread out like a field of mushrooms. Aruk Gigi is made up of 11 ergs lying almost in a line, so close together that one can be seen from the other.
