Overhangs and large boulders are full of schooling fish. Eagle rays and schools of parrotfish and fusiliers are seen here, and turtles have been spotted. In Laamu, the dry season runs from December to April and usually brings the best visibility and diving conditions; this period is also given as the best time to visit the atoll.
