Daphne Minor is a volcanic peak north of Santa Cruz with two distinct topographies: gentle platforms with caves where whitetip reef sharks rest, and a deep wall covered in black corals. Seahorses, endemic blennies, baby sea lions and occasionally eagle rays and hammerheads make this site a favorite for day trips from Santa Cruz. Depth 5–30m, variable currents.
