Crystal Rock is the emergent pinnacle in the northern part of Komodo National Park where 30 m submarine walls are covered with soft corals in shades of orange, purple and red. The strong tidal current that flows through the channel between the Gili Lawas is the driver of extraordinary marine life richness: grey reef sharks, mantas, giant trevally and schools of barracuda surround the rock in a constant pelagic spectacle.
