Cristal Rock (alternative spelling of Crystal Rock) is one of the most spectacular pinnacles in the northern section of Komodo National Park, emerging above the surface at low tide. Its walls drop to 30 m covered in soft corals in shades of orange and purple; the strong currents of the northern channel bring whitetip sharks, mantas, giant barracudas, and enormous schools of jacks and fusiliers that circulate the rock incessantly.
