Costão da Redonda is the spot sought out when shelter from the south wind is needed. Among the holes and reefs on the bottom there are small fish and lobsters. Ilha Redonda is home to frigatebirds and is often visited by turtles, which tend to nest on its beaches in the second half of the year.
