Maldives
The corals are abundant and varied, with massive corals, branching corals and sea fans. Animals seen here include turtles, rays, parrotfish, fusiliers and snappers. Divers have also logged butterflyfish and fish of the sweetlips and grunts family at the site. In Laamu, the dry season runs from December to April and usually brings the best diving conditions; this period is also given as the best time to visit the atoll.
