Maldives
The house reef has live corals, and sea turtles, reef sharks and plenty of tropical fish turn up there. You can expect to see at least 20 varieties of fish around the house reef. The reef is also a scientific study station: a station called Vashugiri was sampled in 2014 during the scientific cruises carried out in the Maldives from 1997 to 2019. In Vaavu Atoll, December to April is usually the dry season, with little rain and wind.
