Chumphon Pinnacle is considered the best dive site of Koh Tao, a submerged granite pinnacle approximately 13 km northwest of the island, with the top at 14m and base at 36m. Covered in carpets of magnificent anemones and pink clownfish, it is one of the most reliable sites in Thailand for seasonal whale shark encounters (March to May).
