China Shop is the protected coral garden in the east bay of Gili Lawa Darat where divers slow down after exiting The Cauldron/Shotgun. The name alludes to the extreme fragility of the corals — dense bommies of hard and soft coral, gorgonians and sponges that demand exemplary buoyancy control; the sheltered bay offers weak current and excellent visibility, making it ideal for macro and photography.
