The Carawa Wreck is the wreck of a German WWI transport ship that ran aground at San Cristóbal on March 21, 1920 — the 90m hull lies at just 13–15m depth, transformed into an artificial reef teeming with rays, turtles, sea lions, nudibranchs, seahorses, octopuses and morays. Variable visibility of 7–20m and minimal currents make this site ideal for beginners and macro photographers.
