Cabeço do Arrastado stretches for about 300 m in length, but it is flat. The corals are mostly stony and sponges are also common at the site, but coral bleaching has already been noticed.
Marine diversity is rich, with ciliares in good numbers and size, frades, butterflyfish, jaguareças, scorpionfish, schools of mariquitas and guarajubas, xiras and small spotted morays. Beijupirás, paruns and lobsters also appear, among other fish. A mixed school of three Haemulon species has been recorded at the site: Haemulon aurolineatum, Haemulon plumieri and Haemulon squamipinna.
In Fortaleza, the most favorable months for diving tend to be January to June, a period with little wind.
