The site is named after a large coral formation, now dead, that characterizes it. It is known for sightings of eagle rays and turtles, amid abundant marine life. In the region of Goidhoo, Fehendhoo and Fulhadhoo, the best time to visit tends to be the dry season, from December to April, with sun and little rain.
