Maldives
The corals have recovered less here than at other sites, perhaps because of the crown-of-thorns starfish found at the spot. Even so, many lobsters, several angelfish and a good number of fish were seen. In Meemu Atoll, the monsoon tends to run from May to November, and around June the sea is sometimes too rough for boats. In 2007, with only one resort open in the atoll, one school's dive boat was almost always the only dive boat there.
