Maldives
It is a channel drift dive. Tunas pass along the edge of the reef and, at times, a school of batfish approaches. On the gently sloping inner reef, stingrays can often be seen resting. Eagle rays are also reported on the channel dive. In the Dhaalu region, the northeast monsoon (January to April) tends to have calmer seas and is regarded as the best time to see manta rays.
