Batu Bolong is an isolated volcanic pinnacle in the heart of Komodo National Park, elected by CNN as one of the 27 best dives in the world. Its vertical walls descend beyond 30 m covered with orange soft corals, giant gorgonians and barrel sponges, while unpredictable currents bring grey reef sharks, mantas, barracudas and dense schools of trevally circling the rock incessantly.
