Baía dos Porcos faces Morro Dois Irmãos, Noronha's postcard view. At high tide, the small strip of sand disappears under the sea.
In the pools between the rocks you can see sergeant majors, flounders, blue tangs, Rocas damselfish, butterflyfish and, now and then, sea turtles. Rays and several schools of colourful fish also appear in the bay.
August and September tend to bring the best light and the clearest water. In the inner sea region, the swell tends to make the sea rough from December to March.
