Back Kandooma, in South Malé Atoll on the back side of Kandooma reef, is the inner reef with soft corals and reef life in a calmer environment. Octopus, nudibranchs and scorpionfish are frequent for macro photography; whitetip reef sharks circle the wall at 10-25 m. Weak current, beginner to intermediate.
