Maldives
The wreck is a small steel vessel, in a giri south of Asdhoo island. It is a spot for macro lovers: nudibranchs, wart snails, banded pipefish and frogfish hide on the hull, which is covered in sponges and surrounded by colorful reef fish. In North Malé Atoll, the northeast monsoon, from December to May, tends to be dry with gentle breezes, and from November onwards the currents tend to bring good visibility and pelagic fish. From late May to July, conditions in the region can be less favorable.
