Brazil
Seen from the sea, the formation looks like three separate islets, but it is a single island whose indentations create coves, natural pools and small white-sand beaches between the rocky shores. About 50 m from the rocky shore, a reef patch running perpendicular to it often gathers rays, flounders and turtles. The bottom is rich in fish and corals. The island has floating fish traps and set nets from traditional caiçara artisanal fishing, so care is needed when navigating and anchoring, and divers should keep their distance from the nets.
